Brian Remy, P.E. — President
Brian joined Tech Transfer in 2008 after developing deep experience in structural and dynamic analysis. In the years since, he has led Tech Transfer’s structural analysis group, developed the firm’s vessel dynamic analysis capabilities to comply with API 618 5th Edition requirements, and become active in industry standards development as a member of the API 11P 3rd Edition committee.
Brian’s technical focus is the intersection of acoustics and structural mechanics — the point where pulsation forces become vibration and where the risk of fatigue failure is greatest.
Paul Selover — Vice President
Paul leads Tech Transfer’s acoustical analysis group and has been performing API 618 pulsation analyses for over 20 years. Before joining Tech Transfer, Paul worked as a project engineer at two major compressor packagers, which means he understands not just the analysis methodology but the packaging constraints that analysts working only in consulting often miss.
Paul manages a group of four acoustical analysts and oversees the technical quality of all pulsation analysis deliverables.
James Poole, P.Eng. — Lead Piping Engineer
James joined Tech Transfer in 2009 from Fluor Corporation, where he worked as a pipe stress engineer. Since joining, he has co-developed improved modeling methods for piping dynamic analysis that have produced better correlation between analysis predictions and field measurements.
James leads all piping stress and dynamic analysis work at Tech Transfer.
